the destination: Casa de Campo

When I met Lauren I knew we would one day get to work together. She, a graceful and energetic Miami girl would win my heart and one day become a great source of inspiration. A client turned friend turned nuptial prodigy chose me as her glam guy and I loved every second of it.

Lauren with help from some of the top vendors in Casa de Campo, La Romana, Dominican Republic created one of the most spectacular events in its richly developed city.

Lauren wore a gold beaded formfitting dress by designer Rachel Gilbert for her welcome party. Held at Playa Minitas, the only thing more mesmerizing than the bride outfit were the fireworks which were the final touch to an already perfect night.

The next morning the brides best friends and I woke up together in a private villa where I would be glamming her up. The wedding dress, a classic Oscar De La Renta ball gown featuring large, graphic bows. Her besties wore colors found in our lush tropical surroundings. A true beauty feast for Miami based photographer Karla Garcia. The ceremony was held at Altos de Chavón. A 16th century village and the crown jewel atop a cliff which overlooks the Chavón river. The kind of place that takes your breath away but then again we had a whole weekend of wows, ooh’s and ahhh’s.

The reception was nothing short of a masterpiece. Just steps from the ocean, you could see the ocean spray rising from behind the events several cocktail bars. It just doesn’t get any better than that.

Lauren debuted glam fit for a Hollywood starlet and we are very proud to call her a friend and L&J bride.
