the bride: Alexa Perez
A few years ago I was involved in the most unfortunate occurrence. A nightmare for any working makeup artist.
My entire kit, a collection seventeen years in the making, was stollen from the trunk of my car. Struggling to conceive my new reality I turned to my instagram stories with a tearful plea. Can anyone help me restore my kit so I don’t actually end up penniless?
Before I could dry my tears, in swooped an angel of mercy named Wendy Perez with a small yet monumental donation for me, a complete stranger. We all shared a common thread… Eric Trelles. A friend and token event guru turned network mastermind. We quickly became friends and just as swiftly got to work. With Wendy’s eldest daughter Amanda having just been engaged I knew these girls would keep me on my toes but hey, my heart was still full with her kindness so it felt right. I would hardly call it work.
Fast forward passed Amanda’s civil wedding, rehearsal and formal wedding. Wasting no time, in comes Mr. Michael Germi, a handsome and kind eyed law student with a diamond ring for Wendy’s second baby girl, Alexa. Also known as Chef Lex, this baby girl was ready to take on the roll of blushing beauty and would do so in legendary fashion.
Now, a few words for my Muse.
Alexa,
After 20 years of working with brides, over 700 individual lash applications and countless nights making other peoples dreams come true, you honored me with the roll of beautifier on your special day. You killed me with your kindness and easy spirit. My dream came true when I got to work with you.
Thank you,
Lutz
